On Saturday the sun came out. Finally! We have had some rainy weather lately and Saturday was perfect. Stacy & Nick’s wedding was at the Old Orchard Hall in Port Moody. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful and the reception was fun and lively. I was joined by my assistant Faith for the day.
Stacy & Nick are one of the funniest couples I know. When I met them for their Burnaby Village Engagment Session they told me that they were excited to have pictures done where they weren’t making a funny face. Stacy’s sister made sure to include some hilarious illustrative gems with her speech. Apparently they are competitive with their face making skills.
I dont think I have ever laughed so hard during a reception. Stacy’s speech to Nick about when she realized he was ‘the one’ was my absolute favourite: “I knew after the time you burped so hard that pop came flying out of your mouth and I still liked you”. Priceless. Even with all of the laughter there were some very emotional moments as well. I just loved watching Nick’s emotional reaction as Stacy walked down the aisle with her father. It was such a great day. Thank you Nick & Stacy for letting me be a part of it!
