Jay is a close friend of my husband’s. They were roommates before we got married. On Friday we packed our things and left for Jay & Ashley‘s Osoyoos wedding. I was so stoked for the hot weather. When we got there the sun had just gone down and unfortunately it was an inaccurate representation of how hot it actually was during the day. On Saturday the moment I left our lovely air-conditioned room at The Watermark to walk down to where Ashley was getting ready, I started melting. Wow was it hot! Don’t get me wrong I love the sun, but I also wondered if I was going to get heat-stroke haha! After the ceremony we didn’t venture too far from the hotel and did the bridal party photos at a nearby park. We got the bridesmaids and groomsmen photos done and only a few couples photos so that everyone could get back to air-conditioning at the reception. We waited until after the sun had just gone down to do Jay & Ashley’s couples photos. A much more tolerable temperature!
